Rays Game!

Reed took this picture...he did good!
Pretty Cass in her huge Rays shirt!

Ahhh...cotton candy at the ball park!

My happy son.
Cassidy thoroughly enjoys her cotton candy!

And when I say thoroughly, I mean....
THOROUGHLY!
Reed(in the yellow hat) and Cass heading out to run the bases!
Reed(again...look for his yellow Little League hat) crossing home plate.

Yep, he fell while running the bases.
I told him not everyone can say they have the red dirt from
Tropicana Field ground into their elbows.
In front of the Rays dug out.
We went to the Rays game this past Sunday afternoon and had a great time! Much of Reed's Little League team was there as well. The kids all got a Rays t-shirt and the opportunity to run the bases at the end of the game. The Rays won which, of course, made the game all the more fun!

Mother's Day cont...More Beach pictures

Reed boogie boarding...you can't see it, but he's grinning from ear to ear!
Hmm...do you think we took this ourselves?

Daddy and Cass heading out to the reef for her FIRST snorkel trip!

Like father...like daughter!
I really see the resemblance around the eye area...don't you?

This is part of the reef they snorkel.

Check out Reed!
He LOVES to dive down (about 6-8 feet) to see what is under the
ledges and such! (FYI - I don't do this...I'm a chicken AND I'm still not all that great at clearing the water from my snorkel without choking. But my 6 year old has NO such problems!)
And pay no attention to the LONG flowing blonde hair...the boy is getting a hair cut Saturday morning.

Snorkeling Reed
Happy kids in the waves.

Mom and Dad gave us this underwater camera for Christmas. But we haven't really had much chance to try it out because no one- except for those 6 years and under- were willing to actually stick their heads under the coldy water!

But summer has arrived and the water is now quite perfect! So we took it with us to Coquina Beach on Mother's Day. As you can tell from the previous post, we haven't worked out all of the kinks, but I think it is so cool to have a camera we can swim with!

Thanks, parents!

Mother's Day at the...spa

Natural salt water scrub, sand exfoliation treatment...spa or beach?
Sorry for the distortion! We are still figuring out the underwater camera.
Reed isn't really such a cone head!
Okay...so it wasn't the spa as much as it was the beach. But, hey, it is all in how you look at it! We had a great time. This was our first OFFICIAL trip to the beach this year. We tried to go out when Mark and Tam were here...and Reed did brave the water...but it was so WINDY and the water was still so cold that I don't think that trip counts.

The water was FABULOUS and the weather was great and fun was had by all. This was also Cassidy's first true time to snorkel! What a big girl! She had a blast and they saw a school of sardines swirling around them.

I am one blessed Momma!
